Jesus Lopez Jr.’s passion for farming began when he grew up on his family’s cattle and agriculture farm in Mexico. Today, he draws on his years of management and hands-on experience to develop efficient business models with minimum risk whilenetworking with experts and companies throughout the industry.He started his professional career managing Rafytek, a polypropylene bag manufacturer serving farming- related clients andinternational export sectors that included the US and Canada.In 2001, he joined Hidel Cordetek as General Manager. The company manufactured polypropylene yarn foragriculturalpackaging. The company’s primary focus on the tomato industry began his direct contact with Mexico’s greenhouse agro-industry.In 2009, Jesus became an Agricultural Busines s Development Advisor for the State of Queretaro Secretary of Agriculture(SEDEA), with active participation in the development of Agropark, one of the largest greenhouse developments in Mexico.In 2015, he became an external advisor for several agricultural business developments with the Mexico Secretary of Agriculture,such as livestock, rural development, fisheries and food (SAGARPA), seeking innovative agribusinesses throughout the country

As CFO for Consoltex Mexico, Mauricio specialized in M&A and financial and operations restructures.As CFO for Terra Sana, Mauricio’s role includes preparation of all operating and financial reporting to the Board of Directors, with primary responsibility for the planning, managing and running of all finance-budgeting, forecasting, identification of risks and opportunities, tracking cash flows, and overseeing legal and taxation issues.He is also responsible for the company’s IT systems while ensuring the necessary internal controls and processes are in place.Mauricio’s career experience also includes managing Finance, Taxation, Treasury, Controlling, Legal and IT functions for MANTruck & Bus Mexico starting in 2008. From 2012 to 2017, he was responsible for all finance-related functions and a JV takeoverat MAN Trucks India as CFO.

His vast experience across different crops, technologies and production capacities reduces operations risk while increasing the ability to take advantage of marketopportunities.His experience includes the management of high-end technology greenhouses in the US and Mexico, with specialization inirrigation, fertilization and plant nutrition in intensive crops.In 1999 he started as Head of Cherry Tomato and Peppers Production at Primavera Peninsular (Mexico) followed byparticipation in various international and Mexico-based training and development projects.Rafael is part of the faculty in the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Campus Querétaro. His academic work studies have included Hydroponic Management for Driscoll´s Protected Crops; discussions about the future of protected agriculture in Mexico; automation of agricultural companies (drip in greenhouses); and fertigation in intensive and extensivecrop.
